The DeLPHE Great Lakes Book Project is ongoing and it is envisaged that the book will be published mid-2011. The working title of the book is Conflict and Development Intervention in the African Great Lakes Region.

USIU held a workshop on 26/06/2010 for Senior BA project supervision and fundraising /Project management for faculty in the International Relations Programme.
Gulu University held a joint 2 day workshop between the Institute for Peace and Strategic Studies and the Department of Development Studies to harmonize their DelPHE project strategic plan and also used the opportunity to train faculty in grant writing and project management held on the 6th of September 2010.
Intra –Africa Staff Exchange Visits March, April&May 2010

2 University of Lubumbashi Professors visited USIU between the 28th of March and 3rd April 2010. They gave guest lectures and seminar in the Department of International Relations among other activities.
3 faculty from the USIU International Relations Program visited Gulu University on a short Intra-African Staff Exchange from April 11-17th 2010.
